This Sunday, June 2nd there will be a special wine tasting event at Forty Hall Vineyard to celebrate English Wine Week and the release of our two new single varietal still white, organic wines; 2018 Ortega and 2018 Bacchus.
Tickets have all been snapped up (sign up to our newsletter if you would like to come next time!) but you can grab a bottle of our fine London wine in the Forty Hall Farm shop on Sunday, online here from Monday or come along to the Forty Hall Farmers' Market on the following Sunday, June 9th at Forty Hall Farm.
2018 has been heralded as the vintage of the century, following the perfect wine producing weather conditions last year and FHV's own wines are bursting with the vitality of our maturing, organic London grapes. We think that both the Ortega and Bacchus wines, which have been crafted by renowned, organic wine maker Will Davenport at Davenport Vineyards are our best vintage of the still whites yet.
We had an enthusiastic reception to both new wines at the Real Wine Fair (hello to all of you we met there!) and we're excited to share them with you, along with our award winning 2016 London Sparkling Brut.
