Events, Tours & Tastings

Throughout the year you can enjoy our wines and meet the volunteers at most of the events at Forty Hall Farm.  We're always happy to chat about our wines and our work at the vineyard, so do come and say hello!

Forty Hall vineyard will be running tours and wine tasting sessions on the 2nd Sunday of the month from April 10th until October.  You'll be guided around London’s only commercial-scale vineyard, which is tended primarily by volunteers as part of our mental health and wellbeing 'ecotherapy' projects. We aim to promote good physical and mental health by giving access to this beautiful space to members of our local community.

The tour will be on the same day as the Forty Hall Farmers’ Market so you can also enjoy Enfield's fantastic community market at Forty Hall Farm and eat and drink in the surroundings of Forty Hall Farm and Estate. This hour-long tour will be led by an experienced volunteer, who will be explaining the history of the vineyard, talking about the impacts and operation of our community-oriented projects as well as specific information about the grape varieties and growing techniques used. This will be rounded off with a wine tasting session, led by one of our English wine experts, where visitors will sample our 2020 vintage still wine and 2018 Sparkling London Brut, so they too can appreciate the end result of the FHV team's hard work!

We can’t guarantee sunshine so please be prepared with waterproof clothing and sturdy footwear!
