Widely acclaimed as England's answer to Sauvignon Blanc, our Bacchus 2017 boasts aromatic aromas of gooseberries, passion fruit and elderflower with herbaceous, grassy notes. Its crisp acidity underlies bright intense flavours of crisp green apple, kiwi, ripe greengage and lime zest with a honeysuckle edge.
A medium-bodied wine with a complex, rich mouthfeel and a pronounced, well-balanced finish. Food-matches perfectly with shellfish, seafood and oriental dishes.
Both Bacchus and Ortega both show complexity and character which will develop over the next two years.
