Within an hour of harvesting the grapes are taken to our winemaker Will Davenport at the award winning Davenport's Vineyard and pressed on the same day to retain the natural flavours of the grapes.
Ortega is a German grape that is earlier to ripen and known for its low acidity. Medium bodied, zesty, crisp and fruity, it is a perfect aperitif or pairs well with seafood and spicy foods.
