We were thrilled to be among three social enterprises selected by The Funding Network and PwC Social Entrepreneurs Club for a special evening of live crowdfunding to raise funds for organisations led by inspirational women, to mark International Women's Day 2018.
Our ecotherapist Charlotte Antoniou (pictured above left) took on the challenge and presented a brilliant pitch about the Vineyard along with Lisa Harvey, one of our Sunday volunteers who spoke passionately about how coming to the vineyard has enabled her to feel more positive. They did such a good job that the Vineyard received donations of over £3,500 from the attending guests!
Well done to Charlotte and Lisa, a huge thank you to Karen and everyone at The Funding Network and PwC and a special mention to Jan Stevens who was extra specially supportive to us on the night!

"My suited and booted attire is usually thermals and wellies but on Thursday evening I dusted off my smart dress and heels to present at The Funding Networks event hosted by PwC. The Funding Network have been fabulous supporters of the Vineyard and we were attending the event to pitch for Funding to support female volunteers and our ecotherapy.
We also heard from 2 other brilliant organisations run by inspiring women and so we were in good company. Our pitch was successful and the networking afterwards meant there was a real buzz about FHV and our wine too."
