A celebration of 10 years and 10 acres of Vineyard, in London.

A celebration of 10 years and 10 acres of Vineyard, in London.

What an afternoon, what a 10 years!  On Sunday, volunteers, board members, staff and long time supporters gatherered to celebrate our 10th anniversary in a special party in the vineyard.

in 2009 Sarah Vaughan Roberts had an idea that she'd like to establish a community vineyard and against all odds, she did it, with the support of Capel Manor College, Forty Hall Farm, some funding and a dedicated community of volunteers.

Now one acre has become 10 acres, with 13,500 vines and volunteers who have worked their socks off to build this amazing project.  Creating award winning organic wines and offering health and well being opportunities to the community.

The project has been such a success that FHV now has a small team of 8 part time staff but at the heart of the operation are our volunteers, the life blood of Forty Hall Vineyard. Thank you to everyone who has supported FHV over the last ten years, here's to the next decade!
