Launch of 2022 Forty Hall White Still Wine

We are excited to announce the launch of a very special, limited release of Forty Hall White next Sunday on our stall at the Forty Hall Farmers' Market.  The still white organic wine is a blend of Bacchus and Chardonnay Organic grapes grown exclusively in our vineyard at Forty Hall Farm and created by FHV's partner in wine, pioneering wine maker Will Davenport.  

The bottle is adorned with artwork by talented London illustrator Matthew Frame and each bottle in numbered by hand. The income from this wine will help raise vital funds for London’s only large-scale, wine-producing vineyard.  A place of sanctuary and wellbeing for so many local people.

We have just 350 bottles of Forty Hall White wine to sell this year and income will help to generate some of the funds needed to produce our 2023 still and sparkling wines from this year's record breaking harvest. For more information about our fundraising efforts - please click here.
 
Not only is the wine a delicious certified Organic wine, you can enjoy every sip, knowing you are helping to secure the future of our unique project.  

As wine expert Oz Clarke wrote, 

"When you drink Forty Hall wine, you’re not just drinking the wine." 

 

The wine will be available at Forty Hall Farmers’ Market on December 10th (10am to 3pm) and at Forty Hall Farm on the 20th December between 4pm and 7pm. Our London Brut will also be available.

A dry white wine

Certified Organic 

50% Chardonnay 50% Bacchus

Grapes grown exclusively at Forty Hall Vineyard

Produced by Will Davenport, Davenport Vineyards 

Retail: £30 per bottle  - gift bags available 

Tasting notes: crisp, zesty, dry and fresh, with notes of gooseberries, tropical fruit and melon. Would pair well with the Christmas turkey and with the cheeseboard, particularly soft fatty cheeses like camembert or Vacherin Mont d’Or.
