Forty Hall Vineyard is an exciting social enterprise which has established a new 10 acre organic vineyard in north London. Run and managed by local people, the vineyard is the first commercial scale vineyard in London since the middle ages. The vineyard produces and sells quality English still and sparkling wines.
As well as operating as a local food project, the vineyard also provides health and wellbeing benefits and volunteering opportunities to a wide range of local people. If you would like to get involved, please contact us.
The vineyard, situated in Forty Hall Farm (managed by Capel Manor College) are both certified organic, and are dedicated to demonstrating environmentally sustainable farming and vine-growing practices.
Forty Hall Farm is a 170-acre organic, mixed farm and fast-growing local food hub. The farm has a variety of animals, including rare breeds, and also holds a thriving community orchard, a forest garden and a new market garden. The farm’s meat, vegetables and fruit are sold locally and seasonally.
We contribute to the farms’ aims of bringing together people from Enfield and across London to get involved in the growing, cooking and eating of local food.
Forty Hall Farm is managed by Capel Manor College which has generously allowed the vineyard use of its land and is a key project partner.
